Building Cherokee Businesses. Strengthening Cherokee Futures.

The Cherokee AcceleratHER is a 12-week hybrid fellowship designed to help Cherokee founders launch, grow, and scale venture-ready businesses.

Grounded in culturally rooted entrepreneurship, AcceleratHER combines education, community, coaching, and capital access to help founders turn bold ideas into sustainable ventures by expanding access to opportunity
and closing gaps in entrepreneurship.

Selected Fellows receive a $10,000 non-dilutive seed grant from the Cherokee Nation, plus business coaching, investor and ecosystem connections, and a powerful peer network - all without giving up ownership or equity. Fellows leave with clear strategies, real traction, and strong pathways to funding, customers, and long-term growth -  while helping drive inclusive economic impact across Oklahoma and beyond.

Cultivating Founders & Funders

Venture Capital 101 is Show Her the Money’s College Educational Experience, bringing venture capital into the classroom through storytelling, applied learning, and real-world connections with founders and funders shaping the future of innovation.

Inspired by the award-winning documentary, this program reframes VC as a career path, a funding path, and an investment path - especially for women and historically underrepresented students.

Venture Capital 101 is designed to intervene early - introducing students to venture capital before confidence gaps, access barriers, and “this isn’t for me” narratives take hold. By teaching about VC at the student level, we expand who sees themselves at the decision-making table and accelerate a more inclusive, equitable innovation economy.
